How was your relationship with your parents? |
My first inspiration to write was when I was five and my parents gave to me my very first journal. I would write things in it like what boys I had a crush on and just other little girl things like that. Then I started learning more about poetry when my mom would read her poems to me. Which inspired me to write my very first poem called The Past. I don't know what ever happened to that poem though so it's not in this web site.
Strange as this may sound my Grandpa. Though he died when I was 3 (stomach cancer) I feel as though I had way more time with him because I can remember so much that he taught me and I remember just how much he really loved me and wanted me to be the best I could be. Granted I was only a toddler but I can still remember so much, I feel like he's still with me today. To be completely honest I treasure the times when my brother and I would play. We could play together for hours and sometimes even days. I'd get my Barbie's and he would get his G.I. Joe then we would play until we were tired and then put a to be continued sign on our area then go to sleep. In the morning we would return to our playing right where we left off. Yuppie those times I think were most special to me. My parents are very special to me. They have always gave my brother and I everything we wanted. Of course with in reason but my brother and I didn't ask to much of them when we were children. We are all so very close, always have been and always will be. No one could ever imagine the type of trust and understanding they have taught us and continue to share with us every single day. I love my parents very much. |
