Last night I laid there and wept, until later when I finally slept.

In a dream I had a scare; it was the most awful nightmare.

When I awoke to my surprise, there were still tears falling from my eyes.

It's all because I needed you, and I thought you needed me to.

When I thought about how you walked away, it hurts so badly because of how much I wanted you to stay.

Once more I cried, I then wished instead I would have died.

How could you leave me so upset?

I wish it was still like the first day we met.
