I knew better than to let myself believe the words he would say,

But I didn't take my own advice and threw my heart away.

I told myself his words weren't speaking with honesty,

Then after awhile they started becoming true to me.

One little thing goes wrong and he makes things change,

Makes me feel like I'm wrong and strange.

He said not to call him ever again,

I just don't understand him.

I knew better, I saw the truth in his eyes,

Yet I still have many tears to now cry.

I never wanted to ever say goodbye,

I am left with just one question...Why?
