Breaking inside but only enough to cause pain,

In more than just my heart, my mind.

Not letting my thoughts go insane,

Feeling as though things are always left behind.

Wanting something that seems so simple and true,

Only finding that there’s nothing for me.

Only wanting more feelings from you,

Or for my feelings to be seen.

Don’t you worry my feelings will get swallowed,

Because my feelings aren’t allowed to feel.

Walking down a twisted road,

Wondering if it’s anything real.

Will there ever be a moment even in its smallest measure,

You will care when you cause me to cry?

You are someone inside me that is a treasure,

But there are moments that make me ask why.
