Expressing love in rhyme isn’t easy to do

When you don’t want to sound sappy

Finding the correct words to use

That others’ wont think are crappy

How can one even begin expressing such a sensitive subject

It’s hard to decide what is best way to start

In hopes that your words can really affect

Someone else’s heart

What does this person want to hear

Is there something that will catch there attention

A little thing that I fear

Getting a reaction of silence fallowing rejection

When your love expects certain things for you to do

Can you have the same expectations in return?

When they refuse to be true

What lesson if any do you learn?

I want to know what turns him on,

I want to know what makes him smile.

I want to feel him when he’s gone.

And I want him to believe I’m worth keeping for awhile.

If only I could think more about me,

And focus on what I can do to make my schedule independently filled with productive chores.

That show I can on my own live free.

Maybe he will want me more.

He says he likes me just fine,

Yet the little things he doesn’t understand why I sometimes feel he can be just mean.

He believes I should just control mymind,

Why do I let it be a big thing
